1. Acceptance
By downloading, installing or using HeartStress (the 'App'), you agree to these terms. If you disagree, please discontinue use and uninstall the App.
2. Nature of the service (important)
The App is a health trend-monitoring tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition.
HSI scores and risk alerts are informational only. They do not replace professional medical judgment. If you experience persistent chest pain, severe discomfort or emergency symptoms, seek emergency care immediately.
3. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App. You may not reverse-engineer, rent, resell or otherwise commercialize the App.
4. Subscriptions & refunds
Pro subscriptions auto-renew and can be cancelled at any time via your Apple ID. Fees already paid for the current period are non-refundable on a pro-rated basis.
Refunds are processed by Apple and subject to Apple Media Services terms.
5. Disclaimer
The App is provided 'as is'. We make no express or implied warranties about fitness for a particular purpose, data accuracy, completeness or availability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the App.
6. Intellectual property
All intellectual property in the App, including the trademarks, logos, MaiBao mascot, HSI algorithm and related documentation, is owned by the HeartStress team.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes shall first be resolved amicably; failing that, they shall be submitted to the competent court at the developer's domicile.
